At SetSail, I led a small-but-mighty design team pioneering visualization and interaction with human behavioral economic data—helping sales organizations access data-driven decision-making and intelligent micro-incentives to accelerate their revenue execution.

StreetLight Data is a big data company that brings data-informed decision making to the planners of tomorrow’s cities and infrastructures. I redesigned their platform that allows users to query their database of anonymized traffic patterns and reworked their powerful, complex system into an intuitive and usable shape.

Head of Design
At Mindflash, a learning management, software-as-a-service company, I designed powerful enterprise UX. Over the course of my time there, I redesigned the entire platform product, which resulted in increased NPS, the ability to support larger use cases, and steady acquisition of larger customers. In addition, I redesigned the company brand, oversaw the production of marketing materials, and served as the product owner for a scrum team.
Scott Snibbe Studio
At Scott Snibbe Studio, I designed several user interfaces for iPad and iPhone apps that enabled their release on iOS, including Gravilux (featured in Fast Company) and MotionPhone—iPad and iPhone adaptations of interaction artist Scott Snibbe’s pioneering work in digital interactive art.
At Silverlign, I designed wesbites and emails for Levi’s, Dockers, Driscoll’s and Mattel among other brands. One homepage design I created increased click-through conversion by 50% over two weeks. I also designed specialized applications for tablet and mobile.
At Barretto-Co., I played an important role as one of the first designers there to write code for websites and newsletters. I also layed out spreads in Eldr (an Ozzy-Award-Winning Magazine), designed publications for Chronicle Books, designed posters and other print collateral, designed packaging for sportswear companies, designed emails and online communications, and redesigned and built the Barretto-Co. website.
I’ve been freelancing since 2005, designing websites, applications, print materials, and brand identities for a wide range of clients, from local artists to law firms.
