Endgame
At Endgame, I was part of the executive leadership team. I reported to the CEO and was leading the creation of a new idea end-to-end, including personally designing a new product vision from concept to high-fidelity. We decided to part ways amicably, and I’ve transitioned to being an advisor to the company.

Databook
At Databook, I was part of the product leadership team and reported to the CEO. I set product vision, owned experience strategy, and directly managed the team that was responsible for user experiences across all of Databook’s offerings, including a new, category-defining product launch that I led and contributed to personally from discovery through execution and release. Databook was the only platform that delivered the market synthesis, customer point-of-view, and strategy tools necessary to enable go-to-market teams to win the largest enterprise deals at scale.

SetSail
At SetSail, as part of the product leadership team reporting to the CPO, I co-owned product vision, drove experience strategy, and led a small-but-mighty design function that created pioneering interactions with human behavioral economic data, including reinterpreting seller activity as waveforms, a project I personally executed. SetSail helps sales teams leverage data-driven decision-making and intelligent micro-incentives to accelerate their revenue execution.

StreetLight Data
StreetLight Data brings data-driven decision making to the planners of tomorrow’s cities and infrastructures. As their first user experience leader, I drove a redesign of their flagship StreetLight InSight application that allows users to query a database of anonymized traffic patterns. The redesign effort reworked a convoluted user experience into an intuitive and usable shape, using spatial logographic illustrations to make the applications learnable for highly specialized but less-than-tech-savvy transportation planners.
I also accepted product management responsibility to ensure high-quality, timely execution of the redesign, and thereafter continued to work in both user experience and product management capacities to drive the enterprise value of the business through product roadmap, user experience strategy, and product vision, with my contributions helping to position an acquisition.

Mindflash
At Mindflash, a learning management, software-as-a-service company, I drove enterprise value for the business by designing and delivering innovative user experiences, stepping up from individual contribution to leading a team over the course of my time at the company. I completely redesigned the Mindflash platform and application suite, which increased NPS, drove higher ACV, and enabled repositioning the business from serving SMB to serving enterprises.
I redesigned the company brand, oversaw the production of marketing materials, and led product management and service design for the platform development team. I also managed the transition of the product management and design functions to ATSI staff before moving to a new role.

Scott Snibbe Studio
At Scott Snibbe Studio, I learned how to blend functional interactions with impressionist experiences, designing several experimental user interfaces for iOS adaptations of interaction artist Scott Snibbe’s pioneering work in digital interactive art, including Gravilux (featured in Fast Company) and MotionPhone.

Silverlign
At Silverlign, I designed interactive marketing experiences and digital marketing campaign collateral for Levi’s, Dockers, Driscoll’s and Mattel among other brands. One homepage design increased click-through conversion by 50% over two weeks. Silverlign is where I started designing multi-surface applications, the first one being a solar panel monitoring app for web and mobile.

Barretto-Co.
At Barretto Company, I played an important role as one of the first designers there to write bespoke code for websites and newsletters. In addition to redesigning and building the Barretto-Co. website, I also worked on Eldr (a magazine that won an Ozzy award), publications for Chronicle Books, posters and other print collateral, packaging for sportswear companies, emails and online communications.

Freelance
I’ve been freelancing since 2005, designing and producing digital products, web experiences, applications, print materials, and brand identities for a wide range of clients, from startups to local artists to law firms.
